Hi there, I have a 408 kit and it seems to power on, but when I connect a light to it (9v of power), it's always on. It never seems to switch off. Any reason why?

you need to TUNE the vr1 pot until the led only goes on when noise is present. It is a precise setting. The vr2 pot is to adjust the duration that your light will remain on.
